The following fabrics are utilised for reinfor-

cing the various elastomers. Their tempera-

ture resistance corresponds to that of the

utilised elastomer:

• mixed fabric CO / PET (cotton / polyester)

• polyester (PET)

• polyamide (PA)

• aramid (Nomex)

• aramid (Kevlar)

The choice of the right hose type is

determined by:

• the spatial circumstances in the motor

compartment

• the chemical/physical requirements, such

as: movements, pressures, temperatures,

resistance to oil and fuels
