Task

To combine various plastic parts for the gear shift mechanism on a truck gearbox so that it is watertight, gas-tight and dust-proof during all the vehicle’s driving conditions.

Challenge

In the event of maintenance – in other words, when the cab is tipped open forwards – the module must remain on the transmission block.

Solution

The module consists of components made of soft PVC, nylon and a silicone component.

Result

It has already been successfully produced for many years. MöllerFlex was awarded a prize by the truck manufacturer for it.
